Racing in 2012
Several event dates have been
posted on the RC Racing Station and
Facebook and the forum’s calendar for the next couple of months. This information should help everyone plan for
upcoming events. Event registration will continue to be hosted at
1racer.net.
When you type in one of the domains, www.1racer.net or
www.rcracingstation.com, you will be taken to one location to choose
your destination. This should make getting information and feedback
simple.
On the Internet you will
find that the classes have been modified. They are as follows:
1:12 Super Stock 13.5,
World GT, Touring Stock 17.5, SCT/Slash, Vintage TransAm, and 1:10 Nitro
Touring. Additionally, we have
added Pro 10 (235mm Pan-car) and GT-8/IGT to the lineup. |
The GT-8/IGT
class features 4WD Slash trucks converted for on-road use. High speed
and fun defines this class.
All other classes will
form based on entries.
Nola Motorsports Park
is the location for outdoor racing. One outdoor race a month is
scheduled. This meeting will include nitro and electric classes. RC drag
racing is included.
The online store is
coming together. Soon more parts and kits will be available to racers at
the RC Racing Station and its online
store. Additional items may be ordered.
We still need to work to
host a ROAR event- The Louisiana Indoor Carpet Championship. There are
enough racers in Region 6 to make it a reality.
