For the past month or so, on-road racing has been priming up at
Zephyr Field's parking lot. After three meeting, it is clear that
on-road racing has a future in the New Orleans area. In future, all
the individuals that have visited should return to race. On the
other hand, maybe they will remain spectators for a little while
longer. In any regard, the track is open to anyone that wants to
race.
Everyone should keep in mind that two factors influence the racing
schedule… availability and space. Zephyr is currently the most
usable space that does not have a fee attached to it at this time.
However, if baseball is on, racing is off. An alternate location is
going to be added soon.
With the addition of another location, the number of races will
increase and the starting time may change. Racing for prizes will
also begin as of July 27, 2008.
An on-road points series will be composed of at least five races and
a final race. The series may include racing at a location away.
Lastly, 1racer has always been about keeping the racer racing.
